New Student Orientation: August 24-28, 2016  

You'll receive a schedule for 2016 Orientation in the mail. Your parents and family members are invited to attend special family events and a dinner planned especially for them on the first day.   

The orientation program will give you just the right information and about a million connections, so you can navigate this important transition smoothly. It's a time to meet other students, faculty, staff, and alumni. And, we'll show you our traditions and give you more than a few reasons to be Carlow Proud.  


Move In Days

Transfer Students
Tuesday August 23
All transfer students, A-Z, move-in between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

First-Year Students
Wednesday, August 24
Please arrive according to the first letter of your last name: 8-9:30 a.m. A-G, 9:30-11 a.m. H-L, 11-12:30 p.m. M-R, and 12-2 p.m. P-Z.

Sunday, August 28
All upperclassmen may move-in between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Books and Gear

Create your login for the Carlow University Bookstore by going to and following the steps to sign up. Once you sign up, you'll be able to receive notifications about your book orders and updates about special offers at the store.

The Carlow University Bookstore is located in the University Commons, First Floor. Plan to stock up on Carlow gear and get refreshments there during Move In Day and orientation. 

Orientation activities kick off the semester for first-year students.
