As a transfer student, you have two options for orientation:
Option One: Attending Traditional Orientation
All Transfer Students are invited and welcome to attend the full weekend of events that prepare students for their social, academic, and day to day lives here at Carlow. You can learn more about the weekend schedule here. We strongly recommend you attend the entire weekend to meet your peers, make connections, and start to experience what it means to be #CarlowProud.
Fall Traditional Orientation
If you'd like to attend, please contact the Office of Student Life directly at 412.578.6293.
Option Two: Attending Saturday Orientation
The Saturday orientation will cover only the necessities of a transition into Carlow. This option allows for students with tight work schedules or family needs, the opportunity to meet important offices on campus as well as their peers and faculty.
A question you may be asking yourself is, “Do I really need to attend this program if I’ve already gone through orientation at another school?” The answer to this question is an enthusiastic YES!
Even though you may have gone through many orientation activities in the past, these have not adequately prepared you for a transition into Carlow University. By participating in our fun and interactive programming you will be more prepared academically, and you may also see a familiar face or two on your first day of classes.
Technology for New Students
