    Move-in Day

    Frances Warde Hall, Third Floor Main Entrance (Resident Students and Families)
    Please plan to arrive at your assigned time to alleviate waiting for elevators and give you the opportunity to have staff help you move in. When you arrive on campus, you will drive up to the residence hall where a professional moving company will unload your car. You will then be given a ticket, and a valet attendant will move your car to a parking lot.

    Orientation Check-in M TF

    Grace Library, Fifth Floor, Campus Green (All Students)
    You will receive an orientation package complete with important information about every orientation event, menus and coupons for select restaurants around Pittsburgh, and a rad T-shirt. You will also receive your name badge that lists your locations for some of the week’s events.

    Academic and Faculty Meet and Greet M
    Various locations around campus; please refer to the label you will receive at orientation check-in. (All Students)
    Enjoy a welcome to your college by your academic Dean and personally meet the faculty in your department. 

    First Year Seminar—Your First College Class M

    Various locations around campus; please refer to the label you will receive at orientation check-in. (All Students)
    Meet your advisor and classmates while spending more time with your First Year Mentor as they teach your very first class at Carlow.

    Class Prep. 101­—How to Succeed in College Classes M TF

    Various locations around campus; please refer to the label you will receive at orientation check-in. (All Students)
    Listen to a mock lecture, learn great study tips, and find out what your studying strengths are.

    Residence Hall Floor Meetings M TF

    Frances Warde Hall, in the lounge on your floor (All Resident Students)
    Meet your Resident Assistant and your floor-mates while learning the rules of the residence hall. Afterwards, enjoy some colorfully fun activities, like tie dying and glow-in-the-dark games on the Green.

    Commuter Student Meet-up M TF

    Frances Warde Hall, Third Floor, Commuter Lounge (All Commuter Students)
    Meet fellow commuters and the leaders of the Commuter Student Association. Afterwards, enjoy some colorfully fun activities, like tie dying and glow-in-the-dark games on the Green.

    BSSE Survey and Resource Hunt M
    Various locations around campus; please refer to the label you will receive at orientation check-in. (All Students)
    Take a national college survey and then take a tour of the campus to learn where different departments are and where your classes will be held. 

    Be Smart, Be Safe, Be Healthy M TF
    Campus Green (All Students)
    Learn how to be risk averse during your college career and get some important information from Pittsburgh Action Against Rape, Center for Victims, and Carlow’s Wellness Center.
