Alternative Spring Break building

For more than fifteen years, Carlow's Alternative Spring Break service immersion experiences have promoted personal leadership development, team building, critical thinking, reflection, and an opportunity to work side by side with a community or organization in need of assistance. Carlow students, faculty, and staff have served in Haiti, St. Croix, Jamaica, Ireland, New Jersey, Texas, Florida, Louisiana, North Carolina, and Pittsburgh.

By participating in an Alternative Spring Break, you will make a real difference in the lives of others, increase your knowledge of social issues by working alongside those directly affected, and develop leadership skills.

At the end of every spring semester, our various Alternative Spring Break opportunities are made public. When announced, you are welcomed to complete an application. All students in good standing have an equal opportunity to be selected to join the ASB teams.
