Dr. William “Bill” Dabney is an assistant professor in the Department of Social Work at Carlow University. He teaches courses in both the BSW and MSW programs. His areas of expertise are in social science research methods and substance misuse. He has taught at various institutes of higher education in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. Dr. Dabney has served as a substance misuse counselor, legislative auditor, and child welfare policy analyst. Dr. Dabney is also a public speaker notably addressing issues related to substance misuse and mental health advocacy.
